November 20, 2025Metanoia Rays X MND and Me: Racing With Purpose at the 2026 Noosa Triathlon
On the 1st of November 2026, Cameron will line up at the iconic Garmin Noosa Triathlon, this time with a mission far bigger than the race itself. For the first time, the MND and Me Foundation has been announced as an official Charity Partner of the event, and Cameron is proudly racing as part of Team MND and Me, raising vital funds and awareness for Queenslanders living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND).
For Cameron, this cause is deeply personal. He is racing in honour of his Aunty, who passed away from MND, and in support of every family carrying the weight of this devastating disease. His goal is not only to complete the triathlon but also to raise $2,000 to help fund essential care services, such as mobility aids, home modifications, and family support, alongside critical research aimed at finding effective treatments and ultimately a cure.
Metanoia Rays is standing proudly beside Cameron on this journey. Our team is actively involved in NDIS discussions about fast-tracking supports for participants diagnosed with MND, including a Queensland participant we currently support who is courageously navigating the rapid and unforgiving progression of the disease. Every day counts for people living with MND, and ensuring they receive timely, tailored support is a mission we are deeply committed to.
The MND and Me Foundation reminds us of the real impact our collective effort can make:
Your effort on course has real impact off the course.
When you support Team MND and Me, you help ensure families can access vital assistance at no cost, at a time when they need it most.
Cameron is racing with heart, honour, and hope, and you can join him on that journey.
Thank you for helping us champion the MND community, raise awareness, and continue the shared mission:
To Care and To Cure.
