Art at Metanoia Rays
We are delighted to present here this beautiful art work completed by Katelynn Clapé, an Aboriginal Artist from Darwin.
This art piece effectively captures the evolution of our organisation, the breadth of services we offer, and the fundamental principles that define us. Katelynn has skillfully incorporated Metanoia Rays vision and values into this creation.
Please find below a detailed description of the art work that symbolises the journey and essence of Metanoia Rays.
Boomerang
The centre of the boomerangs in the painting convey a story of unity and progress. The central gathering of workers on the boomerang represents the company's foundation, while the white dots extending between them are their connections for support. The orange trail symbolises the company's growth in providing support, starting small and progressing with the client represented by white dots following this path. The red dots along the trail signify setbacks and doubts, yet it reveals the Metanoia Rays triumph despite obstacles at the very end of the boomerang.
Footprints & Kangaroo
The footprints symbolise the impact of the journey, capturing the essence of leaving a lasting mark without looking back. The footprints tell a story of purposeful strides, emphasising the significance of the path taken and the indelible impression left behind.
The Kangaroo represents strength, agility and adapatability.
Circles, Feathers & Sunflowers
The three lines connecting to each meeting place in the painting symbolise a collaboration among the Stakeholder, participant, and supporter (Company/Employee/Staff).
The circles represent meaningful steps or transitions in this shared journey, underlining the interconnectedness and mutual progress between these key entities. It's a visual representation of continuous support and unity as they navigate each stage together.
Each colour of the lines represents the participant, supporter and the stakeholder.
The feathers a powerful symbol floating in the image that signifies freedom. The freedom felt by participants when independence is gained.
The Sunflower is a globally recognised symbol for non-visible disabilities or invisible disabilities.
